Program and Facilitator Guide for Team Leaders, Employees and Employee-caregivers
Most employers are unaware and unprepared for their business’ employment and caregiver crisis. Like it or not, they face the need for hard action to address the business consequences of the unrelenting burdens their employee-caregivers bring through the door each day.
The good news is that many of these challenges have workplace, team, and employee solutions.
If your client is typical, maybe 50% of team members are directly affected by the collision of work and care, which may cause stress, illnesses, reduced productivity, and financial and motivational challenges. We call them employee-caregivers.
Almost half is a large part of your client’s team, especially when you realize that many business leaders are concerned about the impact of the organization’s caregiver challenges on their productivity performance and employment. It can be a hidden epidemic in the workplace.
The effects of caregiving on employee-caregivers, employees, and the entire team, can also ripple through to customers and suppliers and even affect business outcomes. This crisis is estimated to reduce corporate profitability by almost 10%.
Bold company and team changes are needed for team leaders to add the beliefs-to-culture-to-performance skill to their managerial toolkit. This is where the “Building a Care-Aware Team Program” comes in!
